Looking for others going to Sussex Uni in September!
Hi!
My name is Renee, I’m 20 (21 by the September start date) and I’m going to Sussex Uni for Psychology and Criminology in September! I’m super excited!!
My main issue at the moment is meeting people. I’m really really bad at socialising with people I don’t know what struggle to meet new people. I’m pretty nervous for that.
So I’d love to potentially talk to people who are also going! Maybe get to know each other over the next few months before we go, so we will at least have someone we know before we get there!

Hi, if you're worried about making friends Sussex Uni has this thing called the buddy scheme you can join! Some of my friends joined and its a great way of meeting new people! Also please don't worry because there are so many societies to join I'm sure one will work for you, they're all on the sussex student union website! I do recommend joining accommodation facebook groups closer to the time (if you plan on living on campus) as that really helped me make friends before I started at sussex! Good luck x
