Studies contradicting determinism?

I'm trying to gather 3 or 4 little bits of evidence that discredits determinism, and am having a hard time.
Are there any studies around that anyone knows of, or am I going to have to try and twist around some of the positives in a really contrived way?

I've been having a look into the free will/determinism debate a lot lately, and it seems that one of the main reasons why people criticise studies for being deterministic is that it's desirable for us to have free will, whether it's true or not. It's typical of modern psychological research, really. Most journals will only post stuff which will have positive consequences... which is fair enough when you consider the implications, but it cuts out loads of interesting bits!
