Hi everyone, I have received 2800 Band 3 on my UCAT this year, and was considering KCL as my 1st choice for medicine. Would this be too risky? I added up my scores and found that I'm 126/150 because I have more than 8 A*s in GCSEs. However, it seems as though many applicants have had a higher score than me last year who received interviews. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance.

The concerning part is your Band 3. 2800 should be well in the 80th percentile and should be sufficient for Kings. Had a friend who scored 2830 last year and he received an interview (Band 2 SJT). What are your predicted grades? It is still risky considering how competitive it is and the ones who get interviewed would be the best of the best. At present with a band 3 in SJT, I think you should consider other options. Hope this helps
