Civic criticizes US in Pakistan Drone report
Campaign for Innocent Victims in Conflict is a US based NGO (Washington) notes that in 2009 there were more civilian casualties in Pakistan than in neighbouring Afghanistan.
Interviewees expected better behaviour in combat operations from Pakistani and US forces than from militants.
Deaths, injuries and property losses are greatly compounded by widespread poverty and displacement.
The death of a husband often means the loss of a key breadwinner. The death of a wife often leaves children and their household without the primary caretaker.

Unfortunately, this report does not come as a surprise to Iran. The heavy-handed nature of the United States' actions in the Afghan-Pakistan border region has been evidenced for some time by the unacceptable civilian casualties resulting from these drone attacks. Iran calls for the United States to cease it's attacks on Pakistani territory.

The PLO believes that this is sadly becoming more and more prevalent. These western "developed" nations such as Israel and the US need to be much more careful. It is absolutely despicable that they rate those lives of middle eastern citizens as below Israeli / American lives.
Iran would completely agree with this excellent statement from the PLO.

Afghanistan shares the grief of the Pakistani people.
We call on the US and NATO to be more selective in their targets, for too long innocent civilians have died as a result of these attacks and the public here grow uneasy.
Afghanistan would also like to bring the issue of night raids to the assembly's attention.

Sadly, this isn't true. A great number of civilians have been killed in these attacks.
