I just wasted the best part of an hour and about £200 worth of reagents because the old, cantankerous plate reader ****ed up, because some idiot keeps messing around with the emission/excitation filters. #scientistproblems

The Australian accent doesn't do much for me really, I find it a little grating. Scandinavian and Nordic accents on the other hand... :coma:

One of many reasons I'd consider moving to Finland. That, and I like the cold.

This isn't work, I'm helping out a friend. I hate children so I'd never do this of my own volition :lol:

Her kids are incredibly precocious and incredibly lively. If by 11.30 no limbs are broken and they haven't constructed a laser death ray, I'm calling it a success.
