Nothing is required for A-level (except Maths, the ability to use a computer and an interest), since not everywhere offers Computing.

Here's the link to the OCR one, anyway: Click

No I just mean I prefer to be the guy in the class who knows half the course already

Thanks :ahee:

This thread is for people moving into Year 11  There's a thread for Year 12s here. You're still more than welcome to post in this thread, but you'll probably be able to get better answers to your questions over in your own thread.

EDIT: Yet again, someone beat me too it  I need to learn to refresh the page before I post

Don't you know? I'm the one who always seems to notice Year 12s on here thinking this is their thread, correcting them while trying not to sound like I'm banishing them
Thanks :h:

What are you talking about? Government and Politics is a respected and traditional "hard" A-Level :holmes:

no its not:http://www.trin.cam.ac.uk/index.php?pageid=604.Its on the same list as Law,its not totally hated but is not respected. After seeing the list,Computing isn't respected.

You shouldn't pay attention to what Dalek says. I'm also doing Government and Politics, it's a respectable subject. I'm also doing Ancient History, English Literature and Philosophy.

Well of course it's not going to be as preferable as the Arts subjects in the A List. You may have noticed that all but 9 of the A List Art subjects are LANGUAGES.

I don't know why we're getting so many of them  I mean, it's not like it says '2012-2013' in the thread title, or anything.

I know but I need to work harder before I didnt so hard that's why I missed out on the A* :frown: ....I know we might have a next thread by the end of the Holidays
Awh man, the sixth form to which I'll probably be going doesn't do Computing (at least not in 2012, they might add it for 2013, perhaps )

If its not on the A list then its not respected, the title even says A-Levels of more limited suitability and that is pretty much the definition of a mickey mouse subject because its on the same list as Business and Law,which are mickey mouse subjects.
Almost at 4000 :awesome:

The Year 12s only have 1500 :teehee: I feel like I should go over and gloat to Usy later
