GCSE Maths books

Hi I just wondered if anyone has got any recommended books for studying GCSE maths?
I'm not starting until sept but because maths isn't my strongest subject (I only got E first time round 20 years ago) I want to start looking at it now.
I've got a couple of the CGP ones and I am finding them very helpful

Thank you

Wait until you start the course because there'll be a specific book they want you to work from - or ask them which book they want you to have. CGP are fine for brushing up/revising but if you are going to buy an expensive text book it ideally should be one designed to match your examiner that uses questions in the same style you'll see in that examiners papers.

Ok thank you. I asked about books and they just said CGP were very useful so bought some off eBay. I'll just stick with these for now then

Hello, I've got a few websites which'll probably help you. They are:

http://www.m4ths.com/index.php?p=1_12
this person produces videos on topics like algebra & does each section seperatly. By this I mean he covers most algebra in one video.

http://www.mrbartonmaths.com/ks3and4.htm
this person produces some good notes, check them out.

http://www.mrhegartymaths.com/Home.php
again produces videos.

have a look at them, which ones you like you should use
