I think that can be said about most European Leagues, bookmakers look at global markets and they hire specialists to analyse data and information is readily available with the internet. But thats why the best thing to do is in-play, outcomes can be affected by fouls, weather or just general momentum its a judgement call and as you can see the prices fluctuate from bookmaker to bookmaker. You will be surprised how the prices vary from Bet365 to William Hill in each market in the same game. Rather than scrutinise have you considered trying to find a sport of market that is there for the taking.....

Yes, I make enough to live from betting.

I agree that value can be found in-play, but that's not to say it's remotely easy. My advice would be for people to concentrate on leagues like the Blue Square Leagues, getting involved in forums etc to try and find news about things like injuries before it is reflected in the odds.

Asian handicaps are also a good way to find value, as the overround is much, much lower than in the 1X2 market. They also provide value in-play, as the score is effectively reset when you place your bet. Most decent Asian handicap bookies won't ban you, either.

Yeah, also Paddy Power get the off times for ITF Tennis matches wrong, so you can check the actual scores and results on 365....They automatically settle and if you withdraw as soon as it is. The just said you an email to say they have adjusted your account instead of putting it into negative....

Tennis is another sport where profit is to be found. I know people who boast an ROI of just over 10% on tennis, which is pretty impressive. My knowledge of tennis is nowhere near good enough to bet on it, though.

I prefer cherry picking - bet on one game and make a killing.

The more bets you place, the more likely you will lose.

What is Asian handicapping?

Yeah, I leave paddypower on 24/7 and there sometimes slow to suspend a market or they have an inplay bet with no movement or price change in the market......and its finished. We are talking like things so unaware like ITF Tennis.

I found a time delay on a website called "betdash" a few months ago whereby they closed markets based on advertised times. I used to watch the darts and bet on "first checkout number = odd or even" because some games would still have an active market when it was on the second point. They never clocked it! You couldn't make big money like, only turn £5 into £50 or so

Also, the american racing in bookies/in america had a time delay I believe and people made a lot of money taking board prices in the UK at inflated odds. That was about 6-12 months ago

Is Betdash not just a betting game by Paddy Power? I know you can make real money, but involves growing your bankroll to £1m in 10 days.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Barely anything few pounds, I had to lay off Sharapova, soon after she was serving out double faults...she is struggling now. Ive pretty much bailed out.... with her leading in the 2nd set. Don't want anything else to do with this game.
