AQA HISTORY 2O: The Impact of Chairman Mao (1946-1976) : 22nd May 2013 :)

Just thought I'd make a thread for everyone writing this paper as the last one really helped, the history 1B.. Any suggestions? Questions ? Problems, predictions ?

I'm doing this exam. I just did the french revolution paper 1F, and now I feel a huge weight lifted! I find this one much easier because half of it is using sources so you don't have to know quite so much information.

Hey, I'll use this thread instead of my one

My teacher thinks the Civil War is definitely going to come up because it hasn't for a couple of years

GLF I believe - not 100% sure

If anyone could post the questions from the January paper, that would be great!

100 Flowers Campaign hasn't come up in a while - my teacher reckons that will come up.

AQA seem to be using alot of material from the 2010 papers - I reckon one or two of the questions will come off that paper.

CR always comes up. The Civil War tends to come up alot, if it came up this year it would be fantastic, such an nice topic.

Does anybody think that the Gang of Four could come up as a 24 mark question?

Probably not - Just not enough content specifically on them.

12 marker maybe

I have a feeling the Civil War will come up in sources.

Maybe social reforms and for the 1960-76 period: Cultural Revolution.

What about the fall of Lin Biao? That hasn't come up in a while, not since January 2011!

True, but I reckon they won't dump it on us again.

AQA tend to be a bit funny when doing January questions, the May/June ones are always fairly standard topics.

Okay. Thank you!

You never know I would advise just going over the fall just in case

Does anyone have any revision booklets or anything that overlooks the whole AQA book in the same detail, but shorter? Those kinds of things are useful for me to revise  Thanks!
