Hidden curriculum/correspondence principle (Bowles and Gintis, 1976) -> teaches children to be passive and to accept the current social hierarchy, e.g. to accept power.
Feminism -> patriarchal ideology; hegemonic masculinity, male headteachers vs. female teachers
Durkheim -> subjects such as RE and history teach the value consensus, social solidarity, etc
