I feel like I must not be trying hard enough since I'm finding sixth form a calm and relaxed atmosphere..
I just love learning though even though I don't always show it & my grades don't reflect it.
I get the same thing I feel really great about sixth form, yet many on here seem to be having at least a couple of problems. My school has always been relatively nice though (in terms of people), and the few idiots that were there aren't any more, or have grown up, so I don't really have any social problems.
My F. Maths class though I love them, but at least one of them might not make it to A2.

Last year, 15 people were in the Higher Level Maths class. At the end of the year there were 6.

There are only 6 people in my F. Maths class. One of them is an exchange student, who's only staying for the first year, so that leaves 5 potential A2 students. I feel like all of them could continue to A2, but I also feel like some of them definitely might not. Early days though, will hopefully improve

So after my first HL Maths test I got 15/32. It wasn't the worst in the class though It's not the content I don't understand, but it's a right bitch for time and if you make one slight mistake early on in a question you get shot in the knee for it ._. Honestly, I got like no error carried forward marks

Everyone else seems to be really calm and relaxed and spend their free periods talking, reading random books etc but I've been doing loads of background research/reading related articles etc, although it all seems to be for just the one subject (History), the rest I've really found rather relaxed :/
somehow keeping on top of all the homework I've got this week despite being severely ill Just got to complete M1 exercise 1C after dinner and then it's a homework free weekend

I'm not doing A2 but that's purely because i don't want to really ... i'd love to do M3 and FP2

Aye! I just really love the freedom you get in sixth form. I feel like we're one big community that is separate from the main school, it's not like upper sixth/lower sixth. We all kinda get along and talk to everyone! I'm enjoying History so far, what topics are you studying?

My school put the best teacher in the school in charge of sixth form this year luckily I like everyone that has come to my sixth form too. Even people I didn't talk to so much in year 11, I seem to talk to all the time now.

Yeah, people have grown up, and the smaller classes make socialising more common My Chemistry teacher joked that Physics students (while we were in a Physics class ) were "anti-social", but that's (obviously, I would hope) not actually true
My school just has a full-time head of Sixth Form, so he knows what he's doing, and we are technically in our own building, even if we have classes in the regular buildings.

You do chemistry and physics? and ahh my sixth form is just blended into the main school.
We have a head of year 12 and a head of year 13, the latter is my physics teacher. We have a floor of the school - it's called the "sixth form corridor". We have a common room, a kitchen, an IT room, and our own separate toilets. But most lessons are with the rest of the school in the science areas/language areas etc.
