Which one of your options is your favorite? :)

My favorite school subjects are Mathematics and natural sciences, so Biology, Chemistry and Physics, not only in GSCE. Moreover I'm interest in German literature, no matter whether poems, epics or drama.

Assuming you mean the subjects chosen additional to core subjects - Geography, because my other choice was Sociology, which I am finding very difficult, and it seems impossible to get good marks on the questions as you have to know sh*t loads of information (terms, dates, law changes, researchers' names, research methods, etc.)

If you just mean favourite subject in general I'd say English, and to further that information - English language! So much simpler.

My school now started offering Further Maths GCSE, and I'm stuck between that, Spanish, and Japanese. Although, all three of them are starting to build up the pressure, :bricks:

Because Maths at GCSE is just applying the same algorithms over and over again. There's no thought or creativity required. To be honest, there's not a lot of creativity required at A Level but at least it's a bit more inspiring.

I see what you mean. In my opinion everyone needs a certain creativity to solve mathematical problems - and a great portion of logic. At the moment I'm learning about linear algebra with geometric figures, vectors, lines and planes. Sometimes there are more than one solution process, so its up to everyone to solve the task. That can be very helpful to solve a task by using a favoured process. But sometimes, it confuses me, as I begin to lose the track of the task. :laugh:

From this perspective I have not an objection against a strict solution process.

Could it be that biology counts to your favorites too? your member name sounds so revealing...

I sort of get what you're saying and I suppose I did like Mathematics at GCSE because I didn't know anything better, but retrospectively it was pretty rubbish. I do like Biology but I wouldn't say I have a passion for it. I just really love plants and green things!
