Just checked all the past exams, seems like AQA have never repeated a poem twice (yet!) So I can pretty much say that the poems will be one of the following:

> Brendon Gallacher - Jackie Kay
> Give - Simon Armitage
> Les Grands Seigneurs - Dorothy Molloy
> On a Portrait of a Deaf Man - John Betjetman
> The Ruined Maid - Thomas Hardy

This may or may not be what comes up on Thursday, but it more than likely will include at least one of the above
GOOD LUCK!
if you do higher tier, my teacher told us that the school heard from the board a couple of years ago that ruined maid won't show up so the chance is really really low

in higher tier, Give, Brendon Gallacher and The Ruined Maid WILL NOT come up as they are solely foundation tier poems. All others are a mix between foundation and higher
I so hope Singh song doesn't come up:/

So are we all saying that predictions are that the the two poems will be
On a portrait of a deaf man and
Les grand seigneurs

How did you find out that some were higher and some were foundation tier?x

My revision guide says you can compare les grands seigneurs with horse wisperwe because they are both rembering happier times of fond memories. they both deal with nostalgia in the past

Last year's year 11s had it so easy! :bawling:

But I really really really hope Les Grand Seigneurs comes up this year! That poem is relatively easy to earn marks in
