Highest ever average score achieved on a degree course?

Due to the Seymour formula at Warwick, it's possible to get up to 111% in a degree (basically, for people who joined the uni before October 2013, who do certain degrees, if you take extra modules you get your score boosted, with the biggest boost being that if you take 150 CATs instead of the usual 120 your score is multiplied by 10/9) - I've heard of a couple of scores just over 100 in Maths.

I've heard rumors of another student averaging 93% in Chemistry, and another averaging 89% in Physics, not sure how valid these claims are as the sources are hardly reliable.

I know someone that got 89.5% in physics in real life.

I don't know any chemists that got that high overall. some i know in mid 80s.

Highest average mark I'm aware of in Chemistry here is 87%. Practical work usually drags down average mark - some people may be amazing at exams, others at practical work. People are rarely amazing (~90%+) with both. :smile:
