Ravensbourne or Middlesex for fashion?

II have one University choice left from my 5 and originally was going to go with Ravensbourne but recently discovered Middlesex and I'm not sure which one will be best. Ravensbourne is in a better area and has good industry links but accommodation is expensive whereas Middlesex is a lot higher in league tables and cheaper accommodation.
Opinions and suggestions from people are much appreciated, especially those who go to either of these two unis?
Hey, I'm starting uni in Middlesex this week for fashion design. I did apply to ravensbourne and the way they interview you is that you leave your work in a room, they look at it, then they interview you without your work so its more so about you. Whereas when I got interviewed at middlesex you talk about you and your work, and i felt more comfortable doing that. In my opinion I felt that middlesex had more of an interest in me and my work as a unit, and I live 10 minutes away from ravensbourne and about 45 minutes from middlesex. I think both uni's are great but to be 100% honest its mostly about where you feel comfortable. have you had your interviews yet?

Also if you have any further Accommodation questions/queries feel free to contact Anita Bailey: [email protected].

We can also email you an interview we had with a current 1st year BA Hons Fashion student, to give you a better idea of how the course is like

Hope this helps.

Thank you.

No I haven't had my interviews yet, I'm only at the application process at the moment. Now that I'm thinking about it I'm considering replacing my London College of Fashion application with Middlesex as I think it's very unlikely I'll get in to LCF. Are you enjoying the fashion design course so far at Middlesex? I'm just a bit uncertain as most of the other unis I've applied to are all art and design based whereas Middlesex has a bit of everything, I don't know whether that's a good or bad thing?
