What's "for" in French?

Depends on context

Pour most likely

Quite a tricky word though

So "Sorry for..." would be " Desole pour.." ?

In that case you'd say

Je suis désolé(e) d'avoir (Past participle)...

Example

I'm sorry I fought against you
Je suis désolé d'avoir lutté contre toi

For Past

If you want to say it in present tense, you just say

I'm sorry. Then a sentence or

I'm sorry, *but* I can't help you. (mais is but)

I meant like " Sorry for the mess" for instance.

Thanks

There are some topics that I haven't done that will come up in first year uni, such as hyperbolics, matrices and 2nd order DEs. The content and questions are really straightforward compared to IB though

Ah, in Scottish Advanced Higher we've done everything in FP1-3 except hyperbolic functions. Yeah, IB is just a complete mindfuvk most of the time.

I think in Comp Sci we learn some new discrete maths and go over a couple A-level topics.
