that video is private i cant access it

its definitely decreasing :biggrin::biggrin:

I put decreasing by mistake.
its increasing cause K is negative, so it would give you a derivative which is overall positive, the derivative=gradient, if derivative>0 then its increasing

Agreed. Definitely increasing.
I swear there were only 8 questions??

I forgot the asymptote too :frown:

I did the asymptote on the wrong axis. It's only one mark anyway
About the asymptote - http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=y%3D%282e%5Ex%29-5

See the range, it should be y=-5 for f(x) and y=5 for |f(x)|

no the question asked whether it was an increasing or decreasing function and why
Let me just but this here, that paper was an absolute mind****

I got 86% UMS average at AS maths

and now I dont even think im going to get an A because

this paper was awful for many parts I couldnt even provide an answer so heartbreaking

all my effort I done all the past papers, I wasnt full ready because I knew they would **** us up, but this bad damn :frown: I have honestly ruined my life by not doing solomons

Cross multiply to get tanx=-1/3 and solve to get 2 answers common its just 4 marks

FFS why did I not see this! so straight forward. so annoyed with the exam!

Nope

100% it was increasing from a negative and tending towards 0

increasing because x was positive and the denominator will always be positive too since its squared in the derivative

I am dying to see this trig identity ...

photo-2.jpg

There you go. Die no more.
did any one get 4 solutions for the trig questions where 2(theta)- 26... = 77 degrees, or something? i put two solutions, how many marks lost?
The number of questions in the paper is always on the front page - in a column on the right hand side.

Always check this before you begin the exam!

9 for regular C3. Last question involved fractions, quadratics and k.
