I "slept" in a garage once during October years ago. it was probably one of the worst and most uncomfortable nights I've had. Basically got no sleep was so cold. Never again.

Yep it wasn't great, but like I said - it felt like luxury compared to where I had been in the preceding nights. I seem to remember there was an old gross armchair in the back that I slept on.

I get the same thing in our small terraced house - we have to use draft excluders and all sorts. The sash windows leak cold air as well. Nice and cool in summer though.
