Do you trust your school's exams officer?

Exams officer are bot required to have any education or training. Most are inexperienced and low paid, and on an unequal par with other professional in the school.
Do you trust the exams officer?
With so many exam boards, different requirements for each, resits and selcial circs, this important task, when it goes wrong, can have disasterous consequences on a persons a admixture future. And a few astute students will inquire, believing that the did not work hard enough. It,doesn't help that some teachers and schools don't reveal the breakdown of marks, and exam boards are opaque.
This protectionist exams system has had little exposure to debate.
Would appreciate your views or experiences on this matter.
My exams officer is mental. He hums super loudly 24/7 and has even got his phone out and had a phone call during our exams! Despite that he's pretty conscientious and gets everything done on time and is happy to provide mark breakdowns. There's a lot of possibility for corruption going by your initial post, crazy 😅

Thanks Cas for your repose. In fact the exams officer is well meaning and was upset by this. But due to no training and many a thousand pupils entering so many boards, and relying on the input of teachers to enter pupils, this occurred. The word you use may be more apropos re exam boards and their multi million monopoly. However, let's get the exms officers qualified and up to,professional status, so they are can join the ranks of others in the school.
