:frown:. It's sad that this domestic abuse is still accepted in many cultures.
No, just no!

This is sad but not surprising when you see what country it is from.
Disgusting.
Um I've seen people promoting how to make yourself puke for people who have bulimia
And the Moroccan state religion is... Islam.

Not in the context of the origin of the piece.
It's the same reason the Women's Protection Act in Pakistan was opposed by Islamic groups for being "un-Islamic".
Islam permits and normalises domestic violence because it is enshrined in the Quran and sunnah (under appropriate conditions). "What Allah has made halal, no man can make haram".

'Are you shocked to see something like this in this day & age?'

Sadly no.

I can only thank the ISoc for making me aware of why this happens.

And also perpetuating its acceptability (although they would all claim to condemn domestic violence - but it's just the same cognitive dissonance and logical disconnect that we see with so many of their arguments.

"Every word of the Quran is perfect, timeless and universal" - "Wife beating is wrong".

Based on religion, culture, stress, agression or whatever, domestic violence is unacceptable.. You can always break up, Why do you have to beat up someone who's obviously not on your size.. provokes the feeling of beating up such men in me

So true. but as you say.....

"Every word of the Quran is perfect, timeless and universal"

So this can never end.

Based on religion,

The ISoc would challenge this given their previous explanations regarding this issue.

It's absolutely disgusting. I'm in disbelief.
Who wants to go around with bruises on show? Obviously, it is bad that domestic violence goes on but it does and it always will do. Don't see what the big deal is with the video. It's better than the woman getting a bruise then been banned from leaving the house until it heals.
