I can't tell my mum, she's rubbish at keeping secrets. & I can't tell dad, coz he tells mum everything. :frown:

I wouldn't want them to get harassed by people wanting a handout.

I know what you mean about people wanting handouts. Thats why im not sure if id tell people other than family. Actually I dont even know if id tell all my family. Just close family.

IMO telling any friends is a mistake no matter how much you think you can trust them, the news will get round and that is the last thing you'd want.

Not a chance they'd ever find out.

I wouldn't care if it got out I wouldn't be remaining near where I grew up, the 2 friends I would tell were there when I was at rock bottom just over a year ago and I wouldn't just abandon them because I'm not at the bottom anymore

I'd tell my best friends and family, and my uni to let them know why i was dropping out
but i wouldn't disclose the actual amount or id just lie about it
i wouldn't care about anyone asking for money cus I'd prob have no money left after buying my dream house, shopping, charity and opening up my own business
