Yes but how do you know which has a choral carbon? I don’t understand this at all

Have you drawn out all the structures of the reagents described in your OP?
Have a look at each carbon.
Do you know the definition for chirality?

A chiral carbon is one that has 4 different atoms or groups attached to it

Okay thanks yeah I have drawn them out. I think I just don’t get a level chemistry full stop. Thank you for your help
