Good Afternoon ,

We have a fabulous site near the Royal Liverpool hospital with prices starting at £126 per week. But if this is still to high for you, you could try to contact Liverpool student homes and ask them for advice. They make sure that their landlords have all the correct certificates and wil be able to help you.

Have a great day

I unfortunately cannot afford the accommodation that the University of Liverpool offers. Is there any private halls people can recommend me with reasons. Thank you!

Have you considered contacting the team at Crowne Place and asking them to forward your email or Facebook link on to your future flatmates?. This is something that we do for our students here at Europa and it really helps with early introductions.

Good Luck

Hi @Gusss! At Ablett House we like to put on lots of social events for our residents so there's always something fun going on! We throw parties that have free food and drink, but we also do other types of events like self-defense classes and gaming nights. There's plenty to get involved with! We also have a big Common Room that our residents are welcome to use with guests, whether that's for pre-drinks before a night out or for a society meeting!

Hey!Is there any university students in Liverpool starting this September that aren't applying to accommodation within the university itself?Im panicking incase I can't get into any of the Universitys accommodation! Can anyone suggest any private halls that are really great for social life and parting?Let me know
Hi! Ablett House are private halls in Liverpool city centre and we reckon we're pretty great  We love to put on loads of social events for our residents which means there's always something happening! We know how to throw a good party with loads of free food and drink (including a cheeky bit of alcohol if that's your thing! :beerglass:) and we also arrange lots of other types of events, like self-defense classes and gaming nights. We also have a large Common Room which our residents are welcome to use with any guests. Some people like to hold society meetings in there, others choose to use it for pre-drinks before a night out! To top it all off we're only about a ten minute walk from all the bars, clubs and restaurants in town so you're right in the middle of all the action!

I'm hopefully going to the university of Liverpool in September but I have been looking at the university accommodation and it's so expensive compared to other universities especially in the North. So I started to look at private accommodation instead- such as grand central and horizon heights. What are peoples views on private accommodation? I am very sociable and need lots to do and don't want to miss out on freshers. Also I'm worried the people on my floor may be different ages or from different unis and not like me?? help.

No way we're literally in the same boat!! Ive been posting here trying to find out the same thing, I'm terrified of moving into a flat with people who don't want to go out or socialise at all! Im not so worried about people being from different unis or different ages because at the end of the day new friends are new friends. I agree though the accommodation by the university of Liverpool itself is wild expensive and you're not guaranteed to get a place in the city centre, I saw their student village is like 10/15 minute drive away from the city centre and the campuses! I was looking at Grand Central myself as I've been told its a really sociable place to live, there's also accommodation through student roost and I've been in there places before here in Belfast and they're really good quality places so I would trust them in liverpool

Yeah I’m really tempted to!! All I keep seeing is how Crown place gets over subscribed every year I really don’t want to have to pay like 7/8 grand to stay out in the Greenbank student village when I’m going to get up having to pay even more money on busses and taxis in an out all the time to the city centre, that’s just madness!! A lot of private halls have like Facebook pages so if you do end up in a flat with people who don’t want to party as much, you’ll always have contact with people in other flats who’ll want you down to have pre drinks so at least that’s something!
Hi all,

I have been successful in obtaining a PhD position at Liverpool University.

I am looking for a studio apartment (private) - if anyone has any experiences or recommendations to ones close to the university campus I would really appreciate it.

Thank you!

There are so many amazing accommodations in Liverpool that you will be spoilt for choice.
We have a system here at Europa that seems to work very well.
Once you have chosen your room, we will forward your email or Facebook link on to your future flatmates so that you can learn a little more about them. If however you find that you are not compatible with your flatmates, we would take more time to learn your interests and preferences to find you another room within Europa with like minded flatmates.
Without you guys we would not be where we are today and because of this we try our best to help each and every student to feel right at home at Europa.
Please let me know if you have any questions by messaging my or by using the details below to contact me.

Have a wonderful day
