Nearly every European country has taken someone's home, what makes Israel any different?

True, but they dont supress their citizens do they???
Original post by Kellyhigh235
Israel adopted a different method. It surpresses every other religion in israel. Targets muslims.

Now heres what. Israel is prohibites in judaism if you didnt know that.

If that were true there would be no active mosques left in Israel, but obviously there is still plenty.

Have you never heard of colonisation?

The British literally invented concentration camps in the Second Anglo-Boer War. The Nazis got the idea from the British.
How about "Congo Horrors" committed by Belgium, they were brutal to the local population. They cruicified women and children to make the men who were already slaves to work harder on the rubber plantations.

I could list thousands of crimes committed under colonisation which makes the Israelis look like angels in comparison.

Funny that the prime minister of a country with such a questionable human rights record feels morally comfortable enough to judge Israel. Malaysia is also a country that ran out Jews with state sponsored antisemitism. To add to that he himself has made his dislike of Jews very clear. This stinks of antisemitism being veiled by a political stance

Bro... If you have no understanding of our country whatsoever, please refrain from commenting as all you are doing is spreading misinformation! You said "Malaysia is also a country that ran out Jews with state sponsored antisemitism". STATE SPONSORED ANTISEMITISM!!!??? Please tell me at what point in history were there Jews residing in Malaysia??? Bud... Don't make a fool of yourself and look at the World Map, we're in the Far East... Not the Middle East!!! I wouldn't know at what point in history Jews would cross halfway across the world just to get to a jungle and a few villages LMAOOOO. I'm guessing you assumed our country was in the Middle East just because we're predominantly Muslim? Please research more into our country and politics... We are one of the most religiously and racially diverse countries in the world, but still no fatal terror attacks in over 20 years... You are clearly misconceived, sorry to break the bad news :frown:
@Underscore__ Hmmmm... Our country is THAT HOSTILE to religious minorities that over 30,000 Christian Chin refugees from Myanmar would go on a perilous journey by foot, skipping over Thailand, just to get to predominantly Muslim 'religious minority-suppressing' Malaysia... Our country is 40% non muslim... So pls do enlighten me on why Jews would be treated any different...

Are you comparing Israel to the genocidal empires of the 1800s? *Scratches head*
Malaysia is showing its true colours by banning a few disabled athletics from Israel complete nothing more to say.
In essence, it's not Anti-Semitism, rather 'Anti-Zionism' so there's really nothing to worry about, though it is a tad bit unfair.

You don't understand... Malaysia hasn't recognised Israel as a country throughout its entire history and therefore doesn't recognise the Israeli passport (basically refuses to accept they even exist), so how are the athletes able to get into the country without a valid passport ??? You really cannot describe it as a ban as Malaysia hasn't recognised Israel right from the birth of Malaysia in 1957... It is like someone with a Somaliland or Kosovo passport.. they cannot enter countries which don't recognise them can they?? So can you describe this as a ban on Somalilandi or Kosovan people?

Remember... Malaysia is one of the most ethnically and religiously diverse countries in the world and the whole population lives in peace... Why would Jews be treated any different... It's Anti-Zionism, not Anti-semitism
Can you tell me how many Jewish people are happily living in Malaysia with full rights and citizenship?

It's not (necessarily) anti-Semitic, as it's more overtly anti-Zionist, but it is stupid to bid for the Paralympics if you don't want one of the participating countries to participate.

If Malaysia want to ban Israel from the Paralympics on grounds of anti Zionism, then why aren’t they banning China for internment of uighurs. Why aren’t they banning Myanmar for their treatment of rohyngas?

What makes Zionism particularly heinous compared to the crimes of countless other countries?
because Malaysia has a history of anti-semitism anti-Zionism is just another for antisemitism.

Malaysian Jews are Jews living in Malaysia, or those originally from the country. The state of Penang was once home to a Jewish community, until the latter part of the 1970s, by which time most had migrated due to growing state-sanctioned antisemitism. They were also found elsewhere in the nation, especially in Negeri Sembilan[citation needed] and Malacca.[citation needed] Indications of the growing racial and religious hostility in the nation has caused many Malaysian Jews to leave or flee the country.

wait what? that's outrageous

international sports have largely managed to escape politics

Opposition of Zionism is not necessarily antisemitism. However, the comments that he's made in the past about Jews being "hook-nosed" does seem to indicate prejudice against Jews as a whole, rather than simply opposing the state of Israel.

how can u say that? it is a derogetery term used against jews for som reason, you cant just have a referance to that.

Lmao copy and paste from Wikipedia, forgot to remove the "citation needed" after negeri sembilan lmao.... I'll reiterate again: Malaysia is one of the most ethnically and religiously diverse countries in the world, muslims dont even make the majority population in the capital city Kuala Lumpur, and the top 10 richest Malaysians are all non-Muslim.... why would JEWS be treated any different... I smell BS from that wiki article u just copy-pasted, no citation, and even the table below stated that there were 31 jews living in Malaysia by 1941... Hardly a significant population.
Malaysia government abuse people because their Jews is disgusting even if it one person why do look up your country history anti-antisemitism in Malaysia.

It's not much more anti-semitic than any other country. The official stance is very simple, they will not recognise the state of Israel until the Israelis stop trying to exterminate the Palestinians. This is not an unreasonable position to take and they are well within their sovereign right to deny Israelis entry to their country.
