A Level Art Component 2 HELP!

I have chosen the topic family and wanted to link my ancestry through techniques and exploration through still life. However I was thinking of using photo albums and drawings from them. I plan on bring some spices in to experiment with whe doing still life.

I am concerned about getting source that may not link; we have started the project. I planned on getting a range of still life objects that I and my family own and linking ancestry through it. IDK IF IT SOUNDS A MESS!! HELP!

That's good because I am just concerned that it may become inconsistent with the use of many objects that my family and I own. I just want to be smart about the source I get and enjoy the project really
