I don't have much financial means to donate my own money (living off PIP/bank of Mum and Dad), but I volunteer with a social philanthropic enterprise and my "earnings" from that go directly to a charity of my choice (most years, a music charity that works with refugees and asylum seekers). Donated over £4K of "earnings" to this charity over a... 5-6 year period maybe?

Sometimes regional, sometimes local or international. Depends on the cause.

Generally I donate my time instead of money since I have no income, but I do have a monthly thing going out to Marie Curie from when they cornered me in a train station a year and a bit ago - luckily I've got just about enough left in my account to see that through until I get a student loan again!
I donate to Wikipedia because it is the greatest free resource on the internet.
I used to donate blood till I found out I'm not actually allowed due to an undiagnosed condition.

Yep, I donate to Wikipedia too, forgot to mention that.

How can you know you have a condition that's undiagnosed? I also can't donate blood, but luckily have a type that they don't really want so that makes me feel less guilty.
