Note taking tip - Scribble down answers during the lecture, and don't worry about how they look. Then later go through and copy them out neatly (perhaps in another notebook). That way, you recap all the information, and create nice-looking notes for revision!

Note taking tip: If you've got little time to write down the information, skim and scan- then jot down the most important information first. Also, make sure to consult classmates, as at least some are likely to have the information documented.

    Note making tip:

Use highlighters to highlight the most important parts, not everything! Another thing you can do if you need to remember loads of information is make flash cards instead of notes. That way you'll be writing notes, questions to the notes to further embed it in your memory, as well as having a handy revision resource! Also try and be as condensed as you can, only write the important things. Also draw pictures to help remember things, I find that really helps.

My note-making tip; choose various highlighters which mean specific things e.g. titles, speech. Stick to this structure and it will make it much easier to spot important information in your notes. Also, you can use bright coloured pens - this helps me to read the notes easier as I find black SO boring to read!

    I choose cursive :awesome:

    Extra tip:
Colour code your notes the same way throughout the year, so all of your definitions are in one colour etc. Make certain things stand out by writing them on post it notes and sticking them on top of the notes
Using your dividers as a dashboard for storing post it notes also looks amazing
