Do we think we'll receive emails before or after updates are made on the Civil Service Jobs portal thing? Or at the same time? I need to know which page to keep refreshing!

Jabs1991 I wish I had your discipline. I have 2 tabs open for CSR and Student room, refreshing every 5 mins and phone at hand to refresh emails. Ive had this set up for the last 3 weeks, wish they would just put me our of my misery.

For people asking about csr/email, I also applied for another position with HMRC (not graduate) and we were sent our locations via email, the email isn't even visible on the communications tab in csr. Obviously could be different for TSP but that would suggest email is more likely.

Just a quick question to see if I've understood correctly.

If we didn't get our first choice, there is a slight possibility that between now and August we could be offered a higher preference due to the shuffling that goes on during the summer? If someone higher up the list declines for whatever reason.
