Dear Miss Whatever,

As we discussed earlier this week(?), I will be not attending your class on the 10th and 24th February.

Kind regards,

Dear (first name)

I'm just writing to let you know that I won't be in class on the 10th or the 24th, but I will catch up on work as appropriate.

Thanks

hi there
this is going 2 sound a lil daft, but im going on holiday 2morrow, and i told my teacher i wont be there on the 10th or 24th (as i have this particular teacher on wednesdays only), she told me 2 email her as shed 4get. anyways, im writing the email, and i cant seem 2 phrasr it write, as i want it 2 sound professional, but not 2 formal, neither very pally either. no negativ comments plz:frown:

Firstly, make sure you spell correctly.
Something along the lines of
"Dear Miss/Mrs ______ (or her first name if she allows you to use this)
As I have mentioned earlier, I will be away on holiday and as a consequence will be missing the 10th and 24th lessons. I recall you asked me to remind you via email, and I just thought I'd take the opportunity to ask about any work I may miss/you'd like me to do whilst i'm away. (She probably won't but the fact you offer will make it seem as if you care) Thanks, _______."
Sensible replies only please.
