Is it a good idea to put down work experience that you are going to do, down on u'r personal statement?

It is good to put down any work experience you will definitely be doing. If you mention in your PS that will be doing this and then at interview when they will inevitably ask you about it and you have not done it - well obviously it will reflect on your chances very badly.

I know you were joking about making it up :biggrin:

However, sadly some applicants for med school apparently. Other than the obvious ethical and morality implications it seems a very risky strategy and probably easily identifiable by decent interviewers.
