Crown Court Question

Basically one of my friends is going to court in this article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-10895786

I was wondering, it says that its the 5th of October they are going to appear. Does this mean that they are going to be sentenced that day or is that just the start of their proceedings?

I want to go with a few friends and watch him get sentenced but its quite expensive going up there so I want to make sure. I did send an email to the crown court a week ago but they haven't replied :mad:

btw, I didn't know about his exploits and only saw him very rarely so please don't rant on about it.

Anyone?

the 5th soudnsl iek it will be the start of the trial which will last X amount of days

if they are found guilty then they will prob be sentenced on the last day or at another date

so ideally you wanan go on the last day - they should have been given a rough idea of how long the trial will last for

fraud is frowned upon so they may be looking at a few years inside.
