To all Axolotl owners
I have 2, and I need to transport them home on the train with me for christmas, I can't be bothered to register with an official site and was hoping someone on here would have them and thus know.
What is the best way to do this? I presume when my sister did the same thing (I can't contact her to ask atm) she just put them in a plastic box, but I need to know;
-how much water should be in there , ie should I leave air at the top of the box,
-how big does said box have to be? they are about 12-15cm long,
Shall I cover it up so it's dark?
btw the train journey will be about 3 hours.
I've had them for ages, I can't believe I don't know the answers to these questions myself and will probably get a load of angry replies about sensible pet ownership, but...
I'll take the risk.
