Hi,

I'm asking on behalf a young student who was interested in gateway.
We just wanted to check the funding situation. They would be applying as a Scottish student through SAAS, but I just wanted to check a few things:
1) does SAAS pay for it
2) what would it be under (foundation or diploma or)
3) If you then go on to medicine from it, can you still apply to funding for medicine as a first degree via SAAS?

I know if you do medicine as a second degree you are not entitled to funding but I wanted to check what the situation was funding post Gateway
