Did you get an A grade in English Lang/Lit coursework with a story transformation?

I study AQA English Language and Literature and was just looking to see how many people transformed something into a third person narrative (aka story) and came out with an A grade?

AO4 requirement of the A grade section is:

"Originality in the deployment of the structures and conventions associated with specific and ambitious/challenging genres; clear, effective and asssured sense of purpose and audience for the transformations..."

A friend of mine got 79/80 ums for his AS coursework transformation and he transformed a novel into a story, so perhaps it is possible for A2 as well? A grade section for AS states:

"strong evidence of originality to delight and surprise the reader/listener"

I'm not entirely sure what they mean when they say original - does that mean I have to do something completely different like a tv script in order for it to be original, or can a story/third person narrative be original too?
