How to revise English Literature A level/IB/ EB ?

So basically in a a week and a half i have my English Literature exam, and i have written notes on the books and poems i have written, but if i just sit and reread them i feel like i am wasting time, being unproductive and eventually get bored.
so i'm wondering how you guys study quotes and stuff for English Literature exams?

at our school we're taught to mainly revise the time periods of writing like renaissance and like historical context and stuff...
we also made fact files for key texts we want to use...
also we're emailing a lot of practice exams and essays to our teachers and they email them back with advice and grades
