Is it a bad start for 1st year to look for rent or flat-share when you didnt get a hall place for Harrow? because I didn't get a hall place instead they put me through waiting list.

I was told to look for University of Westminster - Private Housing facebook group by their accommodation officer it seems no luck at all. They gave me few websites to check it out, but no luck at all I guess I'll be homeless as 1st year :frown:

I applied in April and hear back in June, I guess I'll just keep searching for now.

Well I live in Kingston so thats about 13.5 miles I guess, but my friend she also applied to hall as well and got a hall place, she lives in thames ditton very near to Kingston thats like 1 mile from where I live in Kingston. I have been to her house several times by walking. And I heard that their allocation policy is 25 miles further away. So I don't really understand how did she get a hall place.
