Psychology or English at Uni?

Help I really don't know which to choose for uni
I studied English Lit, Maths and Japanese at A level and got A*AA
I also have AS levels in Chemistry and Physics both at B
I am interested in Psychology but am worried it might be too scientific/biological
Also I like English but am worried about the amount of reading required
I get the impression that English is generally a more respected subject although I don't know what kind of career I want to go into after graduation at the moment
What are your experiences of these courses compared to A level and please give me any general advice many thanks!

psychology has alot of biology and stats init so be ready for it
Which would you actually prefer? You don't sound particularly keen on either :s-smilie:

You could always do a combined degree; loads of uni will let you do both.
Bare in mind there are hardly any jobs in the field of Psychology, if you plan to go on and do that if you undertake the psychology degree. Also, you A-levels have little relevancy to the psychology degree. Maths is the only relevant one there due to the course having some statistics modules in it. Its a tough decision, but ultimately it is yours, but personally with your A* (I think) in English, maybe its the best suited course for you? An English degree is pretty versatile, but as is the Psychology degree - its your call, we can't decide for you.
