You should put little oil in the pan anyway, and then, throw the first pancake away as it is always more greasy.

Every subsequent pancake should be far tastier, and alot less oily.

My mum makes it with a LOT of oil  thanks for the advice

guitargirl, do you make your own or what?

i should try the peanut butter one!

Sorry I'm a bit late, my grandma made me some vegan pancakes last night, but I do make my own sometimes...
I lost count of how many I had....must have been 7 or 8 pancakes or more.

Some I had with chocolate sauce, others with philadelphia cheese and even one or two with some tuna and sweetcorn mayo sandwich filler...I just wanted to try something different...
It all went a bit blurry after I got into double figures.....

lets just say I managed to eat many many pancakes
Living in catered halls, pancake day was always going to be a bit difficult. However, ingenuity prevailed. We borrowed a camping stove that someone had brought with them, borrowed a frying pan from a second year and went on a mission to Tesco for ingredients. They were actually the best pancakes I've ever had! We were making them for 2 1/2 hours and were a very popular corridor! We mostly had lemon and sugar but then had some with bacon and cheese and tobasco sauce which were also amazing. Good times!
