I'm really surprised at the coursework boundary, I wasn't expecting that to change! Definitely a good thing though :biggrin:

Although I suspect I've probably missed out on my A* by a couple of UMS, but we'll see... :s-smilie:

I have been analysing grade boundaires, and the good news is that for A* in coursework the required raw mark has decreased by 1. so its like 3 extra ums for everyone compared with last years UMS.(F326 A* is 37 not 38!), i was really concerned because the boundaries had gone up and up year on year up to this year.  For F324 A* boundary is 53 as expected and thank god it wasnt 54/55 i worried it could have been, but now i think im in the A*, (not wishing to be immodest). anyway i am very  pleased with the grade boundaries, good luck everyone tomorrow. i have done my own calculations and would like to share them with you if i may... F325,144 ums, f326 provisional raw mark of 34 = 46 ums,, need 270 so 270-(46+144) =80 ums , in f324, 80 ums = 52, so i need about 52/60 for A*!?

Well I got a B in Chemistry but was 3 off the A! Got 83 UMS in this exam and 129 UMS in the other exam but my coursework let me down, it seems to be moderated down because I would've had the A* if I got what I was expecting for my coursework :redface:
