You can't. You can only get A* at A2.
highest you can get is an A, you can get an A* overall for A Level, but not for AS.

If you want to put yourself in a good place to get one:
Flare, use odd case studies and up to date case studies, there's usually something happening at the time of the exam that's relevant, put it in.
Case studies - shouldn't be more than 7 things in them, as that's all you can effectively remember, as is going in to to much detail on them. You should only use case studies to back your points up, and you shouldn't need to put more than 7 things down.
Make sure you see the important words in the question, they will often tell you how to answer and what the examiner wants.

90 + ums = A* and then you use that to build it up to A2 though

Where can I find odd case studies :s-smilie: What topics did you do/doing?
there's an amazing thing called google, look, you'll find tonnes. I've taught all the topics, to varying depths, and used to mark unit 2 and 4A.
