How do you choose the right course at Uni!?

I'm currently in Year 12, predicted 4 A's for AS (in Biology, Chemistry, Graphic Design and Maths (with stats)) and interested in medical things - but that's about as precise I can get.:s-smilie:

I've been looking at Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences and Biomedical Engineering courses so far, but I'm not exactly sure what the courses entail.

I think I would like to have a career in pharmaceuticals or developing new treatments for medicine... that sort of thing.

If anyone has any advice on what course would be best suited for my interests and my subjects then that would be greatly appreciated!
Pharmacy or pharmacology  pharmacy is more about learning about drugs and it would lead you to be a pharmacist, while pharmacology is about looking at the effects of drugs and I think this is more the research side..
If you wanna go into pharma I'd suggest to simply just study medicine - forget about any pharmacy/pharmacology courses
