Admission into college

I'm a student from indonesia and I recently started the IB programme. I scored 3 A*s amongst others in my igcse which was a major let down as I'm the kinda person to get all A*s. So far I've been doing really well in the ib and I'm confident in myself and believ I can get 41+ in the IB so do you think a score that high will redeem for my subpar performance in the igcse exams. Is it possible for me to get into an Ivy League or a very respected college such as ucl or lse? Please help.

Hi there, I'm a senior doing the IB applying to the Ivy League. I think if you are aiming for an Ivy League School, your IB predicted grades are way way way more important than your GCSEs - but still it counts very little compared to standardized testings, the SATs/ACTs. You also need an extraordinary extra-curricular profile as well as financial ability to opt out from any kind of financial assistance to increase your chances.
