I'm about 1.85 m tall.
As far as I know we're the tallest people in the world! And yes, I can speak Dutch fluently given the fact that I have been living in the Netherlands since I was born here.Original post by Keoje

Yes, most Dutch people speak English very well actually! However, there are always exceptions to this rule. Also, most Dutchies appreciate it and will encourage you if you try to talk Dutch but there's no need to.

I lived in Amsterdam for a year and most of the time when I tried to speak Dutch they immeditely spoke to me in English. Considerate but annoying as I wanted to practise my Dutch. One person did then smile and speak in Dutch when I just wouldn't speak English despite both of us knowing that I was and my Dutch was poor.
However it is always nice to learn a language and so try and learn at least a few phrases.

What do you think of Germany/Germans? Not particularly you, Dutch people in general - I never understood what kind of relationship the 2 countries have.
