No way. To be honest I wouldn't sound Northern at all on the recording, I only ever get the slight twang when I'm around my friends (probably because we spend a lot of our time talking with fake Yorkshire accents, don't ask why...) When I was down in Cambridge I think I subconsciously slipped into my "must-seem-well-spoken" accent because everyone thought I was from somewhere posh down South. And apparently I sound Irish when I sing, which is just weird.
I only speak Chinese to others if I'm talking about other people (mostly teachers)... the beauty of learning languages . But everybody seems to know all the basic swears... but that wasn't my fault
