Hey I really need help I want to know if anyone has got an offer from city university with a grade D in maths but is retaking it? I applied but I got rejected but my friend got accepted even though his target grade is DDM and the entry requirement is DDD and my one is DDD he already has a C in maths

Peter, who is the admissions tutor for the CS BSc, sometimes will make an offer at DDM if there are other strong factors in the candidate's application.

For maths, we absolutely require a minimum of C, and preferably B, at GCSE mathematics. Regardless of other factors, we will not accept a 'D'. It should be worthwhile contacting him after you have a resit grade for the maths - we tend to prefer a clear first-sit pass, but I believe there are occasions when we will consider a second sit, provided the grade achieved is high enough.

Drop me a line if you're still trying to pursue your application.

Do you agree with the PM's proposal to cut tuition fees for some courses?
