AQA English Literaure LITB3 AO Help!

Hi there,

could anyone help me with A2 litb3 assessment objectives?
What do I need to include in my essays to hit AO1, AO2, AO3 and AO4?

Any help would be much appreciated!

They're the same AOs as AS. AO1 is about setting up debate (which you can do in your intro), focusing on the question (link back at the end of paragraphs, keep points sharply relevant), writing fluidly. AO2 is lang, form, etc so analysing textual techniques and their significance/effect (although keep this relevant to your points), AO3 is interpretation and evaluation so make a point, link it to a quote/AO2 then explain the effect this potentially has and offer alternative interpretations then remark on which is stronger and why. You can also use critics here to argue for/against certain interpretations. AO4 is context but this has to be integrated and really relevant to the question so only include it as part of evidence for a point you are making.
