My phone was lost in an exam -_-

I gave my phone in today, and once the exam was finished I forgot to pick it up. I realised my mistake about 2 minutes later, so I went back to the table where they leave all the phones (they leave all the phones on a table in the middle of a public place) and found that it was missing. Had to hang around for an hour in school with the invigilators who eventually gave up. Just hoping someone will hand it in or has picked it up accidentally.

Anyone else got any experience with this? What did you do?

In my school they took all the phones to reception and ask you to collect them from there.Leaving phones on a table for anyone to take them seems rather careless.
