Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Hi guys,

I'm conducting a research project on SLE and how it can be controlled. For one section of my project I'm comparing Lupus with another disease which has recently achieved a high level of awareness through campaigning etc after being unheard of and rare. My thoughts at the moment are cervical cancer or a similar rheumatoid disease.

Any suggestions are appreciated :smile:

Sorry I'm not an expert in this field at all, but one illness that has received a sudden campaign must be amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, ALS. The viral "ice bucket challenge" raised awareness of it.
