Higher Politics essay

My politics class hasn’t had a teacher all year so I’ve just been copying off of PowerPoints and YouTube videos. I’m trying to revise for the prelim that is in a few weeks and I don’t know how to structure the essays.
How do I structure an essay comparing political systems in the UK and US? Is it 8 paragraphs each focusing on 4 different aspects, for example for Constitutions, un-codified and codified etc, or 4 paragraphs on each system focusing on 2 aspects but comparing the systems? Sorry if it’s worded weirdly, I’m just confused. Any other advice for Higher Politics would be really helpful!!

Thank you this is really helpful, so if the question is ‘To what extent does the Executive have constraints on its powers?’ would the rebuttal be that one executive has more restraints on its powers than the other executive?
