Don't know how many of you will have had this already, through email, but I kinda like it - happy reading.

Read this, it will take you back but be careful because it will also make you realise that you are now actually OLD!...

You ever read Nancy Drew, The Hardy Boys, The Babysitters Club, Forever or Sweet Valley High.

You wanted to be on Jim'll Fix It.
You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before he had plastic surgery.
You wore one of those slap-on wristbands at some point...or heaven forbid one of those T-shirts that changed colour with heat (Global Hypercolour).
You had slouch socks and puff painted your own shirt at least once.
You know the profound meaning of Wax on, Wax off.
You were upset when She-ra, Princess of Power and He-Man got cancelled.
You can remember watching Saved by the Bell
You remember Madonna in her cone stage.
You knew The Artist when he was humbly called Prince.
You even wore fluorescent-neon clothing... (if you can call it clothing!)
Not only did you wear fluorescent-neon clothing, but they were mismatched with fingerless gloves and toweling socks.

Water balloons were the ultimate weapon.
It w! asn't odd to have two or three best friends.
You didn't sleep a wink on Christmas Eve.
You remember when 25p was decent pocket money and you'd reach into a muddy gutter for 10p.
Important decisions were made by going eeny-meeny-miney-mo.
Scrapes and bruises were kissed and made better and taking drugs meant orange-flavoured chewable aspirin.

Older siblings were the worst tormentors, but also the fiercest protectors.

I used to watch power rangers a lot, in fact I was kinda obsessed with it. Used to get up every morning 2 watch it. I really don't understand how I could get up that early every single day just to watch kiddies programmes.
Do people remember Rainbow? And also, I'm not sure how many people have heard of this programme, but I used to love Where on Earth is CArmen Sandiago. Also, ghost writer was another one.

The A-Team was a classic program, looking back on it now, they were all kinda identical though, some1 wold need help, go find the A-team, they wouldn't be able to pay, but the A-team would do it anyway. The A-team would get caught by the army/enemy, would fight their way out with soe form of moddified tractor, and then shoot at loads of people, whilst never actually getting shot themselves, or seeing the enemies killed. The enemies would just kinda surrender, and then the A-team would leave.
It was still a good program though, even if it was a bit predictable.

I always liked the little jingle to - "Transformers! Robots in diguise" -still randomly burst out with it sometimes...
My mum kept all our old toys and videos and stuff...still got most of my 'My Little Ponies' and 'Care Bear' videos....and then there's my older (still 80s) brother's 'he-man' and 'transformer' toys etc...and we still have draws and draws of lego...ahhh, I'm so gonna theif em back if/when I have kids...
And I will never loose my love for 80s music...all those great 1-hit wonders etc etc...am constantly playing 'greatest hits of the 80s' cds...so many classics- 'Stand and deliver', 'Sledgehammer'...I could go on but will not bore you all...

I bet you could make a fortune on ebay, you would be suprised what some people would pay for original transformers these days.
yes...but it's not like they're in 'prime condition' etc...and we'd have trouble digging up all the pieces etc...you must understand, it is a very large draw of old toys... 
besides...the older it gets...the more it could be worth (maybe)...so leaving it to muster for a few more years wouldn;t hurt

I confess to being an avid Thomas the Tank Engine watcher, my parents recorded 9 hours worth on BETAMAX just to keep me quiet.
Oh yeh, and as a footnote, me and Charlotte (LittleMissSmile) went through the WHOLE Fresh Prince of Bel Air Theme Tune the other day.
We got it to a tee.

Timmy Mallet rocked in my day; with that pink and yellow hammer thing that he used to talk to.
'Mr Mallet, Mr Mallet, can I go to the toilet?' is what it used to say if i remember correctly

Wow....I feel so old. It's scary.
Looking back on it all, little did I know then how much it would mean to me now. It's nice to remember the good ol' days, but in a way it fills me with sadness to think it's an area of my life I'll never experience again
And, to add to the list - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mighty Max, something like 'Super Killer Tomatos', Knightmare (still on Challenge channel on sky digital!), the Crystal Maze, Swatcats and Thundercats (my favourite)!!!

Wakaday ! Geez that take me back to my infant/junior school half terms !
And as for Knightmare, that was the first instance of me shouting at the TV in frustration. Then came the Crystal Maze, just a frustating at an older age - all this before we got WW2BAM, and Weakest Link !
